Working with Max was a great experience. My artistic skills grew leaps and bounds under his guidance. His instructions were intuitive and easy to understand. Although his mentorship encompasses several aspects of worldbuilding and artistry, he worked with me on my desired goals and created a plan to fit based on those goals and my skill level. This is where Max’s mentorship really shined and makes this mentorship accessible to worldbuilders and artists from all skill levels hoping to grow in their craft. [...] Max created an intensive program to get me to my desired goal, creating an art piece of armor from my crafted world, in that time frame. [...] I would highly recommend Max’s mentorship for anyone looking to take their skills in worldbuilding and artistic design to the next level. A solid 10/10.

[...] The mentorship was a game-changer for me. Massimiliano didn't just teach; he listened and adapted lessons to fit my unique worldbuilding vision. [...] It was more than a series of lessons; it was a transformation of my thinking about art and design.

The mentorship is not for the faint of heart! You need to be committed, and I must be honest, at the start, I was not prepared. However, Haematinon guided me, helping me to become more disciplined in my workflow and intentions. It was hard but satisfying and worthwhile. I plan to continue studying with him in the near future

Joining Massimiliano’s mentorship was one of the best decisions I have made as a beginner artist. He went beyond conventional teaching; it was more like a partnership where my ideas were given space. During my time with him, I grappled with the subtleties of color theory. [...] Massimiliano has a way of unpacking complex ideas into projects that connect one thought to another.

I started the mentorship with Massimiliano out of curiosity, having extra time during COVID. However, his passion was so energizing that each day, I became more and more driven to pursue my artistic goals. While I am not ready yet to make a drastic career change into concept art, one thing is sure: now, I can't imagine stopping creating art.

How long is a mentorship?
The mentorship is structured in cycles, each lasting 4 weeks. After completing a cycle, you have the option to continue refining your skills by enrolling in another. However, I recommend taking a break after two consecutive cycles. This allows you to reflect on the lessons learned and to integrate them into your practice. Returning for further mentorship is always an option should you feel the need.
How can I pay and how much does it cost?
The mentorship is priced at $390/€365. Payments can be made via PayPal. For further details and availability, please get in touch with me at massi[@]dev9k[.]com.
When do we start?
Let's plan this together! We'll coordinate to find a day and time that suits us both. I am in Central European Time (CET).
In which language do you provide the mentorship?
I offer mentorship in both English and Italian. I do speak a bit of French, but I'm not confident enough to conduct sessions in it just yet. :)
What kind of tools do I need?
Feel free to use your favorite tools! Our work will cover themes applicable across various media, from 3D to watercolors. Whether it's Photoshop or free software like GIMP, or even traditional pencil and pen, all are welcome!
How much time do I need for this mentorship?
Dedicate as much time as you're able, but ideally no less than 10 hours per week to get the most out of the mentorship.
Can I follow you somewhere?
Sure!
Are all the artworks here from 'Fragments of the Past'? What exactly is it?
Indeed, they are! NDAs typically restrict artists from sharing much of their work, but luckily, I can showcase 'Fragments of the Past'! :) It's a Bronze Age-inspired illustrated book series and tabletop role-playing game. To dive deeper into this world, feel free to explore here: https://fragmentsofthepast.dev9k.com/
I have another question!
And I might have the answer. Write me at massi[@]dev9k[.]com if there is something you need to know that I have not covered here!
